Welcome to my Promotion Portfolio. I am excited to be able to apply for promotion to Associate Professor of Arts & Sciences. Four years ago, I was promoted to the rank of Assistant Professor. Since then, I believe I have grown a great deal both as an academic and as a professional in higher education. Some of the reasons for this growth are pursuing my PhD in English Studies, becoming active in the leadership of professional organizations, and receiving mentoring from my professors, my colleagues, and my deans. 

My portfolio is organized in a user friendly fashion. To the left is a column with links to pages you will need to assess my performance and potential. The first page is "Requirements & Responsibilities for Associate Professor of Arts & Sciences." This page contains a table with a column on the left listing all of the criteria of the rank to which I wish to be promoted, Associate Professor, and my current rank, Assistant Professor. The column next to the criteria contains brief narratives, with links to documentation, describing how I have met each criteria. The links are easy to spot, as they are bolded, italicized, and teal. The subsequent pages are my Curriculum Vitae, my teaching philosophy, and my student course evaluations from the last few years.
